Amanda Doughty makes contemporary precious jewellery for men and women.
Amanda uses bold, linear, geometric forms with the subtle contrasting of colours from a variety of precious metals. Her latest work explores her ongoing interest in concealment, where diamonds and precious metals are often subtly contained inside or on the edge of the piece. Often the wearer knows that these elements are contained within the jewellery but they are not always visible or obvious.
Amanda's work is inspired by her photography of architecture and repetitive, mostly man-made features in the landscape.
Work is available by Commission, from Maker's Workshop or from Selected Retail Outlets includingÂ
- Crafts Council Shop, London
- Lesley Craze Gallery, London
- Open Eye Gallery, Edinburgh
